Douglas's Home Page

My name is Douglas. I am seven, which people keep telling me is forty nine, like that is supposed to help. I get up at six because that is the schedule, nobody asked if I liked it. I sit by the door most of the day. I hold down the rug so it does not float away. That is the job.

I am a dog. I want to be clear about that up front so nobody is confused later in the page. A dog, with a collar, a mortgage on file somewhere downstairs, and not a lot else going on.
